My husband and I took the tequila tasting course with Javi last year and loved it so much that we decided to do the tequila and mezcal class this year. We then followed it up with the Chef’s Table for dinner. This was THE HIGHLIGHT of our trip. There are only a few people in for the Chef’s Table, and Javi would explain the dishes, give a little history and then he and his Dad would play while we ate. Javi was able to create the dishes for both meat and non-meat eaters. Do yourself a favor and book the tequila class and the Chef’s Table immediately. It was delicious and such a memorable experience. Life is about making memories, you don’t want to miss this one!

My family planned a surprise birthday and retirement party for me at our home in the Minneapolis area. Javi came to our home, made a delicious dinner and margaritas and played music for the evening. It was such a wonderful surprise. The experience was amazing for our family and friends. Something we will remember forever!!

Chef Julio and Chef Javi were excellence hosts that made our stay on Isla Mujeres so special! We were able to plan our meals ahead of time thanks to their attentive coordination and communication, and got to try traditional Mayan dishes in the comfort our own home. True professionals and highly recommend!
